Animal Totem

the chain saw sculpture was based on student's pictures of animals done in Cathy Feinen's art classes. The project was funded with a grant from The Community Foundation. The artist set up a donated log on school grounds and engaged with the students over several days while he carved. The finished sculpture was installed near the playground and a couple of years later moved inside. It is now missing an no one at the school knows where it is.
